Magiting Shrine Club

Nobles from different clubs who are residents of Tarlac Province met on June 10 meeting in Fortune Restaurant at 6:00 pm to discuss the formation of a new shrine club in Tarlac Province. Coincidentally, during the Imperial session held at Houston, Texas, U.S.A from July 9 to 13, 2015, Illustrious Potentate Manuel A. Espiritu Jr. suggested to Noble Neil Farala to establish a Shrine Club in the Province of Tarlac. Upon his return from Texas on July 21, 2015, Noble Neil Farala sought a meeting with Nobles Romeo Yaranon and Cris Gongora in Holiday Inn, Manila. On the following day July 22, Noble Romeo Yaranon immediately called the nobility of Tarlac for a meeting to initially discuss the formation of a new Shrine club to be held at DPWH Concepcion. The nobility responded positively on the call to form a new Shrine club in the province of Tarlac.

Noble Neil Farala informed Illustrious Potentate Manuel Espiritu Jr. about the meeting and the latter subsequently called for a special meeting the following day. First formal meeting was held at Fortune restaurant, Tarlac City with the presence of the Illustrious Potentate. The meeting started at around 6 p.m. and followed by election of officers of the new Shrine Club in Tarlac Province. The newly elected president solicited the body for the name of the club. The names “Kagitingan” and “Magiting” came up. The word “Kagitingan” was suggested by Noble Miguel Guzman. On the other hand Noble Antonino Palomar suggested “Magiting” since it describes the gallantry shown by unknown heroes of the Death March as represented in the Capas Shrine. The voting was done and the body unanimously voted for “Magiting”. As of December 2015, there are

77 Nobles in Magiting Shrine Club. Stated Meeting is every Last Wednesday of the month.
